Job summary

MFA Petroleum Company is seeking a Big O Store Manager to lead a Big O Tire Store in Missouri. You will oversee daily store operations, manage costs and profitability, and train and supervise a diverse team to meet service standards.

The role requires effective customer interaction, issue resolution, merchandising, safety compliance, and budget awareness. You will ensure 100% service quality and maintain facility standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Experience in retail, sales or tire and automotive industries with leadership and financial responsibilities.
• Ability to obtain a state Motor Vehicle Inspection license within one year of hire.
• Ability to operate a computer and office software confidently.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of store operations including sales, office, shop, and management.
• Open and close the location on schedule and ensure proper daily operations.
• Promote sales through customer engagement and explaining product benefits.
• Supervise staff, conduct performance evaluations, and resolve conflicts.
• Develop and implement training programs and company policies.
• Analyze profitability, manage budgets, and monitor expenses.
• Maintain store appearance and ensure safety compliance and PPE rules.
• Oversee inventory, receipts, and bank deposits; process adjustments as needed.
• Address escalated customer issues and maintain high service standards.
