ALDI USA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support day-to-day store operations, supervise staff, manage schedules, and develop action plans to improve performance.

You will work with the store leader to maintain inventory accuracy, deliver great customer service, train team members, and ensure compliance with company policies. Starting wage is $27.50 per hour with potential increase to $28.50 in year two for full-time associates.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Lead and develop direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Establish responsibilities and performance expectations for direct reports.
• Identify training opportunities for team development.
• Model ALDI core values to foster teamwork.
• Monitor competitive environment and advise adjustments.
• Provide product feedback and recommend item changes.
• Participate in interviewing store personnel.
• Communicate weekly updates and major milestones.
• Ensure inventory procedures, product handling, and cash controls.
• Resolve customer concerns in leader's absence.
• Identify hazards and maintain equipment.
• Maintain store cleanliness and signage.
• Assist with stock levels and ordering.
• Merchandise products to maximize sales.
• Ensure product quality and signage accuracy.
• Assist with payroll, loss prevention, and training.
• Supervise daily operations and escalate issues.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned duties.
