Responsibilities

• The safety and welfare of employees and customers is the primary responsibility.
• Create, establish and maintain an excellent customer shopping experience; provide service training and leadership to staff.
• All POS terminal transactions in accordance with policy and procedure including sales, discounts and refunds.
• Inventory control including shipping/receiving, price changes, markdowns, damage handling, physical inventory.
• Merchandising and visual presentation: store standards, placement, housekeeping, signage.
• Payroll control: scheduling, payroll budget compliance, time and attendance.
• Training and development of direct reports; reinforcement of operational standards.
• Loss prevention: protection and control of company assets.
• Work towards a complete understanding of managing day-to-day operations.
