Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking an Area Supervisor to manage a specific store area, open/close the store, supervise Associates, and maintain a clean, well-merchandised selling floor. You will implement Company processes, ensure safety, and uphold loss prevention standards.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication, supervisory experience, and comfort with POS devices, with availability for evenings and weekends in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the Store and supervise Associates to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintain a friendly, easy to shop environment with proper merchandising and cleanliness.
• Execute and supervise Company operational processes and loss prevention practices.
• Train and coach Associates on cash handling and front-end procedures.
• Monitor floor activity, ensure safety, and maintain proper signing and stockroom organization.
• Support store leadership in achieving goals and daily tasks.
