Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a specific store area and assist in daily operations, opening/closing, supervising associates, and maintaining a friendly, easy-to-shop environment while upholding Ross standards.

You will ensure merchandise presentation, loss prevention, front-end supervision, and compliance with company best practices. Strong communication and supervisory experience, plus ability to work evenings/weekends, are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and supervisory experience are required.
• Fluency in English and strong customer service background are essential.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications is preferred.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations for transactions and reporting.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, secure work environment and oversee store operations.
• Supervise Associates and manage opening/closing procedures.
• Ensure merchandise presentation is consistent with company standards.
• Oversee Front End operations and cashier processes.
• Perform administrative duties as assigned by Store Manager.
• Support loss prevention and accuracy in daily tasks.
