Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Store Leader to supervise daily store operations, train crew, and ensure exceptional customer service. You will oversee opening/closing, cash handling, and staff management while driving sales and operational efficiency.

The role requires at least 1 year of management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment. Local travel is possible; flexible schedule required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure crew members wow customers through personal contact.
• Train crew on the BEST customer service experience for fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure effective performance and customer service.
• Assist with receiving and organizing new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty and handle store operations, staff management and issues.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, lock doors and set alarms.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drive sales and control expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
