Job summary

Goodwill Industries seeks a Store Supervisor to manage daily retail operations, ensuring outstanding customer service, effective inventory control, and smooth sales floor activities. You will lead a diverse team, train staff on policies, and uphold safety standards while driving performance and a positive shopping experience.

The role requires strong supervisory and communication skills, the ability to recruit and coach employees, and a commitment to the Goodwill mission.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or the ability to obtain through The Excel Center.
• Proven supervisory experience with the ability to inspire, motivate, and hold staff accountable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for employees and management.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations including inventory, merchandising, sales floor, and customer service.
• Recruit and hire qualified candidates to build a diverse, competent team.
• Train staff on policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
• Monitor performance and provide coaching; take disciplinary actions when needed.
• Ensure safety protocols and security measures; mitigate risks such as theft.
• Communicate with Store Manager; participate in regular meetings and improvement initiatives.
