Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a store leadership professional to manage all aspects of store operations, including staffing, training, merchandising, ordering, receiving and daily execution. You will lead a team, conduct performance evaluations, enforce safety and cash controls, monitor in-stock levels, and ensure compliant, customer-friendly service.

The role requires strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to open/close the store, manage day-to-day tasks, and uphold Dollar

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; management experience preferred.
• Ability to lead teams and manage store operations daily.
• Knowledge of cash handling and POS operations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Compliance with labor laws and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select, and retain qualified employees; ensure proper staffing.
• Provide training, conduct performance evaluations, and counsel when needed.
• Monitor ordering, inventory, and stock levels; review BSR and cycle counts.
• Enforce safety policies and security procedures; ensure a safe environment.
• Open and close the store according to schedule; manage daily operations.
• Analyze store performance and identify profitability opportunities.
