Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents (diagrams, rules, procedures).
• Ability to perform basic math calculations and percentages.
• Knowledge of cash handling and deposit control procedures.
• Experience using IBM cash register to generate reports.
• Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees and ensure proper staffing.
• Provide training, conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
• Make recommendations on pay rates and advancement opportunities.
• Communicate performance, safety and policy expectations regularly.
• Open and close the store daily and ensure coverage.
