Job summary

ALO in Berkeley, CA is seeking an Operations Lead to drive profitability and efficiency across store operations. You will work with Operations and Visual Managers, delegating tasks, and coaching the team on inventory, shipments, floor sets, and guest experience.

The role requires constant movement, leadership, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. You will lead by example, recruit and develop talent, uphold safety and visual standards, and collaborate to meet KPIs and budget goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute inventory management to maximize accuracy and reduce shrink.
• Investigate and root cause inventory issues with the General Manager.
• Manage shipment, receiving, processing, reverse transfers, floor recovery, replenishment, floor set updates.
• Champion strong visual standards for the sales floor.
• Support safe work environment and stockroom standards.
• Partner with Operations & Visual Managers to manage reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, supplies, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities.
• Demonstrate strong business acumen by leveraging metrics to support business-driving strategies.
• Move dynamically on the retail floor to assess and fulfill needs of the business, team and guests.
• Lead and develop Operations Associates; recruitment and development of talent.
• Use company performance tools to evaluate each operations associate and provide constant feedback to drive growth and improvement.
• Collaborate with Visual Lead for cross-functional training and with Sales & Service Lead to ensure business execution.
• Execute company directives and initiatives; open/close store per BOH standards.
