Bass Pro Shops is seeking a General Manager to oversee day-to-day store operations, merchandising, and staff leadership in Anchorage. The role emphasizes financial discipline, inventory control, and superior customer service to drive store performance.

The GM will supervise senior store leaders, manage staffing, training, and performance reviews, and ensure adherence to corporate directives while delivering a legendary shopping experience for every customer.

Competenze

• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in high volume, big box Retail Management, with multi-store experience desired.

• Supervises multiple store managers and coordinates staff development.
• Opens and closes the store.
• Ensures service-oriented staffing and interviews/new hire orientation.
• Drives world-class customer service and a positive, productive work environment.
• Meets financial plans and safeguards assets and cash handling.
• Maintains merchandising directives and marketing strategies.
