Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Grapevine, TX is seeking a General Manager to lead day-to-day store operations, merchandising, and team performance to deliver world-class service and store profitability. You will supervise multiple managers, coordinate staffing, training, and performance reviews while upholding company policies and safety standards.

As a key leader, you will ensure inventory accuracy, financial controls, and proper presentation of merchandise, while driving customer satisfaction and associate

Qualifications

5+ years in high-volume, retail management (big box)
Experience with multi-store operations
Strong financial and analytical skills

Responsibilities

Directly supervises a team of store managers and supporting roles
Opens and closes the store
Leads staffing, training, performance reviews, and scheduling
Drives customer service excellence and associate morale
Maintains merchandising directives and marketing strategies
Manages cash handling and inventory controls
Ensures a safe, clean, and compliant store environment
Provides guidance and resolves customer and employee issues
