Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Store Crew Leader in Richmond, IN to support the store manager, oversee daily operations, and train associates. You will help drive sales while delivering a fast, friendly checkout experience.

Responsibilities include opening/closing the store, cash handling, stocking, and ensuring excellent customer service. A High School diploma and 1 year of supervisory experience are preferred; starting pay is $11.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience; ensuring that each guest has a fast, friendly check out experience.
• Helps oversee the daily activities of all store associates, ensuring they are performing their duties effectively and providing excellent customer service.
• Assists with the receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock to ensure items are quickly and efficiently placed on the sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and addressing urgent issues.
• Manages the opening or closing of the store, securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and daily operations readiness.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses through merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Partners with store leadership on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Performs store maintenance (cleaning, stocking, etc.).
