Job summary

Five Below in Indianapolis is hiring for a store leadership role. You will guide crew in delivering WOW customer service, train staff on the BEST experience, and oversee daily store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and safety.

You will supervise associates, assist with stock intake, and partner with the leadership team to boost sales while controlling expenses. A flexible schedule is required, and prior management experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; college experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members wow the customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring a fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates; ensures duties are performed and service is excellent.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for fast stocking.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, handling store operations, staff, and urgent issues.
• Manages opening/closing, cash, doors, alarms, and daily operations.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses through merchandising, staffing, and service.
• Performs store maintenance including cleanup and stock room upkeep.
