ALDI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, supervise teams, and drive strong store performance. The role includes coordinating schedules, implementing action plans, and identifying training opportunities to develop staff.

You will work with the store leader to maintain inventory, cash control, cleanliness, signage, and customer service excellence while upholding ALDI standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive retail experience.
• Prior management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Identify training opportunities to improve performance.
• Model company values and promote teamwork among employees.
• Monitor competitive environment and advise adjustments.
• Oversee interviewing of store personnel.
• Ensure inventory procedures, cash control, and product handling.
• Maintain store cleanliness and signage.
• Assist with stock levels and merchandising.
• Ensure payroll and loss prevention targets are met.
• Escalate issues as needed.
