Job summary

ALDI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help supervise daily store activities, drive performance, and develop the team. Responsibilities include scheduling, implementing action plans, and maintaining store standards.

The role emphasizes maintaining inventory accuracy, merchandising, and customer service excellence within a busy retail environment. The position is full-time with a 38-hour work week and starting wage of $25.50 per hour, increasing to $26.50 in year two.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment.
• Prior management experience preferred.
• Strong team leadership and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Establish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Identify training and development opportunities for staff.
• Monitor the competitive environment and inform leadership of adjustments needed to stay competitive.
• Provide product feedback and recommend items to carry or discontinue.
• Participate in interviewing store personnel.
