Job summary

ALDI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in South Carolina to support the store leader in achieving daily targets and operating standards. You will supervise day-to-day activities, manage schedules, and develop action plans while identifying training opportunities to grow the team.

The role is full-time, 38 hours per week, with starting wage of $25.50 per hour and a wage increase to $26.50 per hour in year two.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment.
• Prior management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with supervising day-to-day store activities and develop operational action plans.
• Establish responsibilities and performance expectations for direct reports.
• Identify training opportunities to improve employee performance.
• Uphold company values and ensure teamwork and customer service.
• Support payroll, inventory, and loss prevention efforts as needed.
• Assist with interviewing store personnel and maintaining store signage and cleanliness.
