Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit is seeking a Store Assistant Manager to supervise and train retail store and production staff, clients, trainees, and volunteers, ensuring production standards and quotas are met. You will lead stock rotation, displays, and inventory to maximize sales while maintaining safety and security systems.

Qualifications

• Any combination of education and experience that provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to do the job.
• Experience in resale or retail preferred.
• Ability to work with others to achieve a shared goal.
• Ability to work within established guidelines.
• Knowledge of books and a love of reading.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train retail store and production personnel, clients, trainees, and volunteers.
• Ensure production standards and quotas are met and monitor quality/quantity of finished products.
• Lead stock rotation, store displays, signage, and inventory management to optimize sales.
• Assist in the operation and safety systems such as alarms, deposits, safes, and incident reports.
