Goodwill of Greater Detroit in Michigan is seeking a Store Assistant Manager to assist in supervising and training retail staff, clients, trainees and volunteers while ensuring production standards and quotas are met. The role emphasizes leadership and planning to meet store objectives within budgeted timeframes.

The position focuses on maximizing sales through proper stock rotation, display, signage and inventory control, in addition to supporting secure and safe store operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising and training store and production personnel, clients, trainees and volunteers.
• Check the quality and quantity of finished products to meet production standards and quotas.
• Lead stock rotation, display, signage and inventory management to drive sales.
• Support store security and safety systems operation (doors, alarms, deposits, safes, incident reports, etc.).
