Job summary

Goodwill is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to oversee daily store operations in the manager's absence, ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures. Qualifications

• High school or GED with 2 years related experience or on-the-job training in clerical/administrative tasks.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to manage cash handling and customer/donor transactions with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff and communicates work performance; may assist with interviews and orientations.
• Ensures proper customer service to donors and customers and helps develop new donors.
• Motivates employees to meet production and performance guidelines.
• Controls receiving, pricing, display and sale of merchandise within approved price ranges; maintains store appearance.
• Balances cash receipts, prepares daily deposits, and maintains records of daily store transactions.
