Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Establishes job responsibilities and performance expectations for reports.
• Identify training and development opportunities for reports.

• Monitor competitive environment and advise adjustments.
• Provide product feedback on items to carry or discontinue.
• Participate in interviewing store personnel.
• Communicate weekly information and milestones.
• Ensure adherence to inventory procedures and cash control policies.
• Resolve customer concerns in the absence of the direct leader.
• Identify and rectify hazards and maintain equipment.
• Maintain store cleanliness and signage.
• Assist in stocking and ordering to maintain stock levels.
• Merchandise products neatly to maximize sales.
• Ensure product signage accuracy and freshness.
• Assist in payroll, loss budget, and training of new employees.
• Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues as needed.
• Ensure reports complete duties to provide high customer service.
