Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Store Operations Leader to oversee Non-Perishable Food and General Merchandise functions, focusing on inventory management, merchandising, and customer service. You will support the Store Manager to ensure safe, compliant operations and protect company assets.

You will train department managers, ensure correct stock levels, coordinate with vendors, and oversee 7 Day Workflow procedures. A strong background in retail supervision and food handling knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of three years of retail store experience.
• Experience to include at least one to two years as a Department Head/Assistant Manager or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Interviews and recommends hiring for store leadership and sales roles.
• Trains managers in stock levels, ordering, unloading, stocking, and customer service.
• Oversees scheduling coverage and performance follow-ups.
• Maintains supplier relations and ensures timely deliveries and accurate billing.
• Manages 7 Day Workflow Plan adherence and inventory controls.
