Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Store Perishables Supervisor to manage produce, meats, dairy, bakery, and related areas under the Store Manager's supervision. You will help with inventory management, merchandising, safety, and customer service to support store goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Attainment of required local and state food handling certifications, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in maintaining accurate perishable stock levels using department tools.
• Train and guide associates in proper presentation, freshness and pricing standards.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation standards and food handling rules.
• Record inventory and markdowns and monitor vendor orders.
• Deliver friendly customer service and address customer needs promptly.
