Job summary

Rack Room Shoes is seeking a Team Lead to supervise daily store operations and ensure policy compliance while training and guiding staff. The role includes stepping in for the Store Manager when needed and driving sales, service, and operations excellence.

You will oversee POS, inventory, merchandising, payroll, and scheduling, while maintaining customer experience and asset protection. A strong leader with communication and organizational skills will thrive in this hands-on position.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day store operations and ensure policy compliance.
• Provide leadership and training to store staff.
• Step in as acting manager when Store Manager or Assistant Manager are unavailable.
• Strive to meet and exceed sales, service and operational objectives.
• Oversee POS transactions, discounts, refunds, loyalty, and opening/closing procedures.
• Manage inventory, price changes, markdowns, and physical inventory.
• Maintain merchandising standards and signage; ensure showroom cleanliness.
• Oversee scheduling, payroll budget compliance, and time & attendance.
• Lead loss prevention efforts and protection of company assets.
• Develop staff through continuous training and customer service reinforcement.
