Job summary

Rack Room Shoes is seeking a Team Lead to supervise daily store operations and ensure 100% adherence to company policies. You will provide leadership, training, and direction to staff in the absence of store managers, while striving to meet sales, service and operational goals.

The role may be full- or part-time management, with responsibilities spanning customer experience, inventory, payroll, merchandising and loss prevention.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day store operations and ensure policy compliance.
• Provide leadership and training to staff under direction of store leadership.
• Maintain customer shopping experience and service standards.
• Handle POS transactions per policy, including sales, discounts, refunds, and loyalty procedures.
• Manage inventory controls, price changes, and markdowns.
• Lead merchandising and visual presentation to company standards.
• Assist with payroll scheduling and attendance compliance.
• Support training and development of direct reports.
• Support loss prevention and asset protection initiatives.
• Develop understanding of daily operations and staffing needs.
