Job summary

Rack Room Shoes is seeking a Team Lead to supervise daily store operations, ensuring 100% policy compliance and delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will train staff, support the Store Manager, and step in during their absence to oversee all aspects of the store.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily store operations and safety of staff and customers.
Create and maintain an exceptional customer shopping experience and service standards.
Execute POS transactions, refunds, discounts, and loyalty procedures per policy.
Manage inventory controls, including shipping/receiving, price changes, and markdowns.
Lead merchandising, floor presentation, promotions, and cleanliness to brand standards.
Assist with scheduling, payroll-related tasks, and budget adherence.
Train and develop staff while enforcing company policies and training tools.
Protect company assets through loss prevention practices.
Support Store Manager in day-to-day operations and leadership.
