Job summary

Five Below is seeking a store leadership role in Bowie, MD. You will oversee daily store operations, train crew on a best-in-class customer service experience, and act as Manager on Duty as needed. You will manage cash handling and opening/closing procedures to ensure a smooth daily operation.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of management experience, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment with weekend/evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and high service standards.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and performance.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed and manages store operations.
• Manages opening/closing tasks, cash, alarms and daily readiness.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drives sales and controls expenses through merchandising and service.
• Partners with leadership on merchandising procedures and recovery.
• Performs store maintenance and general upkeep.
