Job summary

Five Below in Waldorf, MD is seeking a capable Store Leader to manage daily operations, supervise associates, and deliver a fast, friendly checkout experience. You’ll open/close the store, secure cash, and ensure policies are followed with accuracy and consistency.

You will train and onboard associates, drive sales, control expenses, and coordinate merchandising with the leadership team while maintaining energetic store maintenance and a WOW customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail management or supervisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers with personal contact and ensures a fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversees daily store activities, guiding associates to perform duties effectively.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and stocking merchandise for out-on-floor display.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, handling store operations, staff, and urgent issues.
• Responsible for opening/closing, cash security, and alarm checks.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training to improve performance.
• Drives sales and controls expenses through merchandising and service quality.
• Partners with leadership on merchandising procedures and store upkeep.
