Job summary

Five Below is seeking an energetic leader to supervise store operations in Odessa, TX. You will ensure crew members wow customers with personal contact and fast, friendly checkout experiences.

You will oversee daily activities, assist with receiving, and act as Manager on Duty to address urgent issues and ensure smooth operations. The role includes onboarding, training, and driving sales while managing expenses.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure crew members wow customers through personal contact. Train crew on the BEST customer service experience to ensure fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates to ensure tasks are performed and customer service is excellent.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking and organizing new stock for rapid merchandising on the floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations, staff, customer service, and urgent issues.
• Open/close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms, and prepare for daily operations.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on store policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by improving merchandising, staff performance, and service quality.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising and recovery processes; perform routine store maintenance.
