Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Crew Lead to ensure a WOW customer experience through personal contact and fast, friendly checkout. You will help oversee daily store activities, assist with receiving and stocking, and act as Manager on Duty when needed to manage operations, staff, and urgent issues.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task across merchandising, training, and sales initiatives while maintaining excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Wows the customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience and ensures fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and ensures they perform duties effectively and provide excellent customer service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick stocking on the sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, handling store operations, staff management and urgent issues.
• Manages opening/closing the store, secures cash, locks doors, sets alarms, and ensures smooth daily operation.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates to improve performance.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising and customer service.
