Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage is seeking a Store Operations Associate to manage stores within your district. You will deliver excellent customer service, rent units, process payments, and ensure a clean, safe facility with daily tasks and inspections.

You will work primarily daytime hours with some Saturday shifts, enjoy PTO, and participate in a 401(k) plan. The role combines customer care with basic maintenance, office duties, and teamwork across store locations.

Qualifications

• A positive and outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
• Experience delivering high quality customer service to a diverse customer market.
• A self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
• You must have the ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up‑to‑date insurance are required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Renting self-storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments utilizing our POS system, completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls regarding late payments.
• Physical tasks include daily walks of the property, cleaning units and grounds, and opening/closing storage doors.
• Maintaining a clean and safe facility to meet company guidelines.
