Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC seeks an Assistant Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with opening/closing, supervise associates, and ensure store standards.

Responsibilities include organizing merchandise flow from delivery to floor, maintaining clean and stocked sales areas, handling payroll and scheduling data, and upholding safety and policy compliance while delivering a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience managing store operations in retail, grocery, or drug store environments.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical store tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll/scheduling, and cash handling.
