Job summary

Goodwill West Texas seeks an experienced supervisor to maintain production flow and meet goals while ensuring excellent customer service at donation doors, sales floors, and cash wraps. You will train staff, supervise operations, maintain security, and uphold Goodwill routines across donations and merchandising.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 6 months of Goodwill or supervisory experience. Texas driver license preferred and varied hours may apply.

• High School/GED preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure outstanding customer service at the donation door, cash wrap and store
• Lead team to deliver an excellent customer experience throughout the store
• Ensure donations are accepted graciously and receipts offered to donors
• Perform all aspects of the donation process for smooth flow of donations
• Merchandise and maintain floor design and store housekeeping
• Process all sales transactions including discounts, tax exemptions, voids, and donations; train staff
• Navigate and troubleshoot POS and tagging systems
• Train staff on Goodwill Mission and round up process
• Monitor donated/new goods flow and implement improvements
• Demonstrate product knowledge and value of donated goods
• Lead safety checks and enforce security protocols
• Maintain records and achieve goals
• Assist with floor moves and merchandising improvements
• Monitor stock and replenish merchandise as needed
• Enforce company policies including signage, pricing, and loss prevention
• Make decisions in emergencies and other challenging situations
• Communicate positively with coworkers and others
• Coach and educate new staff and provide ongoing training
• Monitor productivity and scheduling and report to Manager
