Job summary

Goodwill West Texas is hiring a Retail Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our Abilene store, ensuring excellent customer service and donation flow. You will lead a team, train staff, manage receipts, and enforce loss prevention and safety protocols while delivering a positive donor and shopper experience.

Responsibilities include supervising donation intake, merchandising, pricing, and maintaining store cleanliness.

Qualifications

Minimum 6 months Goodwill or supervisory experience.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to supervise and motivate employees.
Ability to communicate with coworkers and donors.
Ability to operate POS and tagging systems.
Willing to work varied hours and days.

Responsibilities

Ensure each customer receives outstanding customer service by promoting a customer friendly environment.
Lead team in offering an excellent customer experience at the donation door, cash wrap and throughout the store.
Ensure donations are accepted graciously and a receipt is offered to each donor.
Perform all aspects of the donation process to ensure smooth flow of quality donations.
Merchandise and display items to maintain floor design and store housekeeping.
Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions including discounts, tax exemptions and cash donations.
Understand and troubleshoot databases such as POS and tagging systems.
Monitor and report staff productivity, scheduling, and other issues to Manager.
