Job summary

Goodwill is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the store manager in daily operations and meet budget goals while adhering to company standards. Responsibilities include supervising staff, handling cash, maintaining merchandise and ensuring ACE customer experience.

Ideal candidates will have high school diploma or GED, 12–18 months related experience, valid driver's license, and ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: equivalent to four years high school with 12–18 months related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff and volunteers as needed, communicates performance expectations daily.
• Delivers ACE customer service to donors and customers.
• Oversees receiving, pricing, displaying and selling merchandise within set price ranges.
• Maintains clean, organized store interior and exterior; ensures merchandise rotation.
• Handles cash register operations, processes payments, voids, returns and credits; balances daily deposits.
