Job summary

Goodwill West Texas is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to oversee daily store operations with a strong emphasis on the production area. You will motivate and supervise a diverse team, manage cash handling, and ensure a positive customer experience across donation and sales floors.

Responsible for training staff, enforcing policies, and coordinating with the Store Manager to optimize sales and store efficiency while ensuring safety and loss prevention standards are met.

Qualifications

• 6 months retail or warehouse/production experience required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• High School/GED preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and operate computer.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and promote Goodwill's performance standards and Core Values. Foster a positive team environment.
• Monitor flow of production area to ensure donations are sorted, processed and priced.
• Oversee merchandise flow from donation to pricing and floor placement to drive sales.
• Provide training to ensure staff greet donors and maintain product knowledge.
• Lead the team to deliver excellent customer experience at the donation door.
