Job summary

Five Below in Smyrna, TN is seeking a dedicated retail leader for an hourly Store Manager role. You will supervise store operations, train associates, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience, while driving sales and controlling expenses.

Responsibilities include stock receiving, opening/closing procedures, and maintaining top customer service. Flexible day/evening shifts and at least 1 year of management experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of management experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and think creatively under pressure.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Wows the Customer through personal contact with customers and trains crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates to ensure excellent customer service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed and handles store operations, staff, and urgent issues.
• Manages opening/closing procedures, securing cash, alarms, and daily setup.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates and product knowledge.
