Job summary

Five Below is seeking an experienced store leader in Clarksville, TN to oversee daily operations and deliver the BEST customer experience. This hourly role starts at $13.00, with responsibilities including supervising crew, training, and managing cash handling and opening/closing procedures.

You will lead the store team, coordinate merchandising, and partner with leadership to drive sales while maintaining a welcoming, efficient environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members wow customers through personal contact.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring that each guest has a fast, friendly check out experience.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates, ensuring they perform duties effectively and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock to ensure items are quickly placed on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and urgent issues.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms, and ensure smooth daily operation.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Partner with store leadership in merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance including cleaning, stock room upkeep, and general duties.
