Job summary

Five Below is seeking a capable store supervisor in Chattanooga to lead a high-energy team and elevate guest experiences. You will train crew on the BEST customer service approach and ensure a fast, friendly checkout for every guest.

In the role of Manager on Duty, you will oversee daily store operations, assist with onboarding, drive sales, manage cash handling, merchandising, and safety. Flexible schedules are required to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members wow the Customer through personal contact and trains on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates to ensure performance and excellent service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and stocking to keep shelves filled and organized.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, handling store operations, staff management, and urgent issues.
• Manages opening/closing duties including cash security, doors, and alarms for smooth daily operation.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies, product knowledge and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Partners with store leadership on merchandising procedures and overall store recovery.
• Performs store maintenance such as cleaning, stocking, and restroom upkeep.
