Job summary

Five Below is seeking a capable Store Manager on Duty to lead daily operations in a fast-paced retail environment. You will supervise associates, train staff, and ensure a positive guest experience at checkout and on the sales floor.

The role requires at least 1 year of management experience, strong communication, and the ability to multitask while maintaining composure under pressure. Weekend shifts and flexible hours are common in this hourly position.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Train the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring a fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of all store associates and ensure excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick shelf placement.
• Act as Manager on Duty, handling store operations, staff management and urgent issues.
• Open/close the store, secure cash, lock doors and set alarms for smooth operation.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and product knowledge.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising procedures and recovery processes.
• Perform store maintenance including cleaning and stock room upkeep.
