Job summary

Five Below is seeking a capable retail leader to oversee daily store operations at the Clinton, MD location. You will supervise associates, ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience, and drive sales through strong merchandising and service execution.

You will also train staff, manage opening/closing duties, and assist with stock and floor management. The role requires at least 1 year in management, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and think creatively.
• Maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact at checkout and on the floor.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and monitors performance.
• Assists with receiving and stocking to keep shelves full and organized.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed and handles store operations and issues.
• Opens or closes the store, secures cash, and ensures a smooth daily operation.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising and service.
• Collaborates with store leadership on merchandising and inventory processes.
• Performs general store maintenance and housekeeping.
