Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations, train crew on the BEST customer service experience, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout.

You will oversee receiving, stocking, opening/closing duties, and staff development, while partnering with the leadership team to drive sales and control expenses.

This hourly role requires flexibility, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wow customers through personal contact and superior service.
• Train crew on the BEST customer service experience for fast, friendly check-out.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure excellent service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock.
• Act as Manager on Duty; handle store operations and staff management.
• Open/close the store when needed, securing cash and alarms.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and performance.
