Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management, including cash handling and ensuring readiness of floor and stock room for the day.
• Completes cash handling tasks: returns, order voids, refunds, cash drops, and providing change to registers.
• Engages customers with a friendly greeting and proactive assistance to deliver a distinctive Walgreens experience.
• Models and shares customer service best practices with team members to deliver exceptional service.
• Assist with vendor deliveries, backdoor access, pricing changes, and merchandise displays as required by policy.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts, store systems knowledge, and compliant signage.
