Job summary

Goodwill is seeking a Store Supervisor to assist the manager and assistant manager with daily operations and performance targets. You will open/close the store, handle deposits, manage cash and inventory, and address donor/customer needs in the absence of management.

Ideal candidates will have strong customer service skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lead and train staff while maintaining ACE standards and a safe, welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to four years high school or GED, with emphasis on office/shop skills, plus 12–18 months related experience or training.
• Valid Driver's License and clean MVR.
• Good driving record within last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Occasionally supervises staff and communicates performance expectations.
• Provides ACE customer service to donors and customers daily.
• Monitors receiving, pricing, displaying and selling merchandise within established price ranges.
• Maintains store interior/exterior and rotates merchandise properly.
• Handles cash register operations, daily deposits and store transaction records.
• Monitors loss prevention and reports suspicious activity.
• Completes personnel/payroll records when manager is absent.
• Maintains clean and safe work environment.
• Keeps attendance records and coordinates absences with Store Manager.
• Follows safety policies and supports professional development of staff.
