Job summary

Goodwill is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, assist with inventory and donations, and coordinate a high-performing sales team. You will work closely with the Retail Store Manager to maximize production, maintain records, and ensure excellent customer service.

The role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and a commitment to Goodwill's mission and values. A California driver’s license and cash handling experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of increasingly responsible retail management experience with supervision.
• Experience using a cash register.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise staff, promoting safety and security of donated merchandise.
• Assist in banking functions and cash handling.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve conflicts.
