Safelite Group, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in San Diego to lead front-line associates and oversee daily store operations, ensuring an exceptional customer experience. You will drive performance, training, and safety across the location.

Ideal candidates bring leadership experience in retail or service centers, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and a commitment to operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or 3–5 years of leadership experience.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license.
• 1+ year of supervisory/leadership/key holder experience.
• 3–5 years in retail or service center environments; automotive experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, web applications, and office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and lead activities of associates, ensuring high productivity and world-class customer service; provide cross-training for stability.
• Provide world-class customer service by addressing complaints/warranty issues and processing losses/damages.
• Manage work order assignments and routing of mobile jobs; ensure procedures are followed and vehicles are loaded and in transit on time.
• Train associates on installation techniques, vehicle/equipment maintenance, documentation and internal platforms.
• Monitor productivity, inventory and cleanliness to meet quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and other federal, state, and local regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.
