Safelite in Madison, WI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead frontline teams and direct store operations. You will guide associates, manage cash handling, inventory control, loss prevention, and store appearance while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

This role emphasizes training, safety, and compliant procedures, with a focus on driving productivity and service excellence for daily customer needs and warranties. Strong leadership and hands-on management are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent preferred.
• 3–5 years of leadership/supervisory experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in retail or service center environments; automotive experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general office equipment.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and lead activities of associates, ensuring high productivity and world class customer service.
• Provide world class customer service by addressing complaints and warranty issues and processing losses/damages.
• Manage work order assignments and routing of mobile jobs; ensure procedures are followed and vehicles are in transit on time.
• Train associates on installation techniques, equipment maintenance, and internal technology platforms.
• Monitor productivity, inventory and cleanliness to meet quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
• All other duties as assigned.
