Job summary

Safelite is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead front-line associates and drive a memorable customer experience at a single retail location. You will oversee daily operations, supervise staff, manage cash, inventory, and safety, and maintain a professional store environment.

Responsibilities include motivating staff, addressing customer concerns and warranties, coordinating work orders, training on installation methods, monitoring productivity, and ensuring OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or 3–5 years of leadership/supervisory experience.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• 3–5 years retail or service center experience; automotive experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general office equipment.
• Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and lead activities of associates to ensure productivity and world-class customer service; provide cross-training for operational stability.
• Respond quickly to customer complaints/warranty issues and process casualty losses/repair damages.
• Manage work orders and routing of mobile jobs; ensure procedures followed, vehicles loaded, and in transit promptly.
• Train associates on installation techniques, procedures, vehicle and equipment maintenance, documentation and internal tech platforms.
• Monitor productivity, inventory and cleanliness to meet quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulations.
