Job summary

Five Below is seeking a store leadership associate to WOW the Customer and lead a team of crew members in our Jacksonville, NC location. You will train staff, supervise daily operations, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience while managing stock and store maintenance.

Responsibilities include opening/closing the store, protecting cash, and partnering with the store leadership team on merchandising and guest service initiatives. Must be 18+ and able to work flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and think creatively.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensures crew deliver WOW customer experience.
• Trains crew on BEST customer service; fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and service quality.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking of new inventory.
• Act as Manager on Duty and oversee store operations and staff.
• Open/close store, secure cash, set alarms, ensure smooth daily operation.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drive store sales and control expenses; optimize merchandising and service.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising procedures and initiatives.
• Perform store maintenance such as cleaning and organizing.
