Dollar Tree seeks an Assistant Store Manager to help oversee store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store functions, organize merchandise, and help open and close the store.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, store management experience in retail, and strong communication skills. You will assist with payroll, scheduling, loss prevention, and policy compliance while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, and bending.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers with questions and concerns in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and store communications; ensure policies are followed.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
